After starting at Smith Barney 20 years ago, I learned that the Wall Street business model wasn’t necessarily in the client’s best interest 100% of the time. I founded Southeastern Financial Planning answering the question, “What is best model to serve the client?” That led me to start a fee-only, commission free, financial planning firm that serves the best interests of each client at all times. In fact, I am legally bound to act in the client’s best interest with all recommendations – and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
